Swashbuckler
Sea of Stars
Beast in the Sky
Our ancestors once worshipped around fires, the sea of stars in the night sky.
As I look deep upon this starry night I see the reverence for the deities of languages lost and imagine yesteryears of inquisition.
Vessels sailed upon the blackest nights by this sea of stars as ocean spray mystified vellum laden puncheons.
Galleons of sailors lost to the edges of the map.
Telling tales as old as time itself of beasts lying dormant deep below tar pitched lagoons waiting to snatch buccaneer souls off board.
Cask and mast of timber pitched and cracked and yawed at every roil underneath.
Swords of soldiers through crusades sparked blades on the battlegrounds of yesterday.
Any swashbuckler worth his salt need only heed the call of mermaids and plough a raging sea.
Where golden troves of treasure found themselves at x marks the spot on every map.
